Architects Unveil Plans for New Supertall Miami Skyscraper

Architects have unveiled plans for Miami's latest supertall skyscraper, set to towner 1,000 feet over the city's financial district as part of a new development named One Brickell Centre, which will bring 1.65 million square feet of office space to downtown Miami and feature the largest floorplates in the city for a building of its kind.

With full-scale construction slated to kick off next year,  the development will include a hotel, apartments, offices, half-million square feet of dining, retail, and entertainment space spread across three levels, and more.

Expected to be complete by 2028, One Brickell City Centre will spread its 1.5 million square feet worth of space across 68 floors.

The building will boast outdoor terraces on every floor, floor-to-ceiling windows and oversized 15-foot to 20-foot floor-to-floor heights offering expansive views of Brickell Bay and South Beach.

Additionally, the building is slated to feature a large rooftop helipad.

Project approval came in September 2022 after city commissioners voted unanimously on the 1,049 foot One Brickell City Centre. The 80 supertall tower will be crowned the largest building ever building in the city of Miami
