Kunal Trehan Hosts Patron Fundraiser for LGBT Foundation

Kunal Trehan - the design director and founder of Touched Interiors - has celebrated inclusivity and raised awareness of prejudice against LGBTQ+ individuals as patron of the respected national charity LGBT Foundation by hosting an intimate fundraiser to help continue delivering advice, support and information services to lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans (LGBT) communities across the UK.

The fundraiser, which was supported by Touched Interiors, took place at The Ivy, Manchester on 27th July 2023, 51 years since the partial decriminalisation of homosexuality through The Sexual Offences Act 1967 in the UK.

The fundraiser, which saw 100% of all proceeds donated to LGBT Foundation, raised funds to continue offering services and activities that give a lifeline to those in need, including providing 90,000 safer sex packs to communities each year, a helpline providing thousands of hours of support and advice to thousands of people annually, support for individuals concerned about drug or alcohol use, and information and advice on reporting hate crime.

The Kunal Trehan Patron Fundraiser was proudly aided by award-winning full-service law firm JMW Solicitors, with kind support from Harvey Nichols, Verdure Floral Design, Artisté: On-Demand Beauty Redefined, Julie Perry Events, and Rococo Group.

Attendees included LGBT Foundation CEO Paul Martin OBE, Seema Malhotra, Michael Josephson, Claire Caudwell, and Dr Jonquille Chantrey, with live music from Jordan Ashton.

Since 1975, LGBT Foundation has been transforming the lives of LGBTQ+ people across the UK, providing over 500 hours of lifesaving support and services every day.
