Entwine Ironwood, High Gloss Black & Glass Side Table
Frank Lloyd Wright’s vision made him reluctant to build the Guggenheim Museum in New York in an era when it lacked architectural excellence. His decision to take on the challenge and project Guggenheim’s organic form in the middle of an overbuilt area marked an imperative turning point for the city.
Outstanding and eye-catching from outside-in, the spiral design on the interior takes visitors on a smooth downward slope to view the art. In Entwine side table, the collection honors the Prairie School of architecture with an inspired modernist design.
The Etwine is structured with an iron frame coated in high gloss black lacquer. Topped with an extra clear glass table top. Finished using a marquetry technique applied to the ironwood of the table top. Below, black lacquer and ironwood adorn the contrasted carved legs that spiral towards the ground.
