Norman Foster has left his mark on innovative and sustainable architecture in the past 40 decades. Forever conscientious of the culture and surroundings of his projects, the Hearst Tower erected in Manhattan is one of his immense achievements.
In the Germain folding screen, the surfaces exhibit a rhythmical combination of translucent glass, smoked glass and mirror, all within an intersecting structure of polished brass, reminiscent of Foster's preference for oblique and geometric lines.
