The Dado Travertine Flush Ceiling Light
Model: KT1031-1
Dado means die or cube in Italian. It is a compact square travertine downlight, 10cm across, held on a walnut-toned ceiling plate.
Unlit, it reads as a small, neat block of warm cream stone with its natural pores showing. Switched on, the light is directed downward in a soft, focused pool, while the travertine frames it. Used singly it lights a cloakroom or a niche; in a measured row it marks a hallway, corridor or landing with very little visual weight.
It measures 10 x 10cm and is 8cm deep. Travertine is a natural stone, so the pores, banding and tone of every piece are unique.
