The following Terms & Conditions apply to retail purchases, including Care & Protect insurance products, made at in-person at Touched Interiors showrooms, online at, via telephone or by invoice. Separate Terms & Conditions govern the provision of Touched Interiors services, including Interior Design Services, Construction (Design & Build), Trade Professional services, and  Private Shopping Experience services.


References to ‘Touched Interiors’, ‘we’, ‘us’ or ‘our’ are references to Touched Interiors® Limited. By using the website or placing an order, either in-person at Touched Interiors showrooms, online at, via telephone or by invoice, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions (the ‘terms’). We reserve the right to make changes to the terms at any time. Should we update these terms, a notice will be displayed on the website, and by continuing to use and access the website, or by making a purchase in any form, you agree to be bound to these terms by any variation.

These terms are available in the English language only. Nothing in these terms will affect your statutory rights.

1. Definitions & Interpretations

In these Terms & Conditions:

1.1 "Agreement" means these Terms & Conditions of sale;

1.2 "Goods" and "Products" means the goods purchased by you;

1.3 "Touched Interiors", "we", "us" or "our" means Touched Interiors® Limited;

1.4 “Installation Costs” means the installation fee payable to Touched Interiors;

1.5 "Order" and "Purchase" means your order for the goods;

1.6 "Price" means the price payable for the goods inclusive of VAT but excluding all other costs including delivery, shipping and storage;

1.7 "Shipping Costs" means your costs of shipping and/or the shipping administration fee payable to Touched Interiors;

1.8 "You" or "Your" means the person who has bought the goods from Touched Interiors and whose order has been accepted by Touched Interiors.

2. Use of Website

You are provided access to the website for your personal and non-commercial use only. Any access to, or use of, this website will be in accordance with these terms. Please note that we may suspend your access to the website, close your Touched Interiors account, refuse any future orders and/or suspend your use of any promotions if you do not comply (or we reasonably believe that you are not complying) with these terms, any other terms or policies to which they refer, or any applicable laws.

You may not use the website or its contents to:

- Download or modify the website under any circumstances;

- Interfere with or disrupt any network connected to the website;

- Gain unauthorised access to other computer systems owned by Touched Interiors® Limited;

- For any purpose which is unlawful.

In addition, you may not, in relation to the website, use any:

- Data mining, robots, or similar data-gathering and extraction tools;

- Framing techniques to enclose the trademarks, logos and other proprietary images, text layouts and formats that we use on the website;

- Meta tags or any other ‘hidden text’ that uses our name or trademarks

Using the website does not give you permission to link to it or to use any of the trademarks, designs, get-up and/or logos contained within it.

We do not represent or warrant that the material contained in the website, or any of the functions of the website and the server, will operate without interruption or delay or will be error-free, free from defects, viruses or bugs, or compatible with any other software or material. The website is provided ‘as is’. Accessing the website is entirely at your own risk.

If you choose to access the website from locations outside the UK, you are responsible for compliance with local laws where applicable.

3. Purchases

The following terms apply to retail purchases made at in-person at Touched Interiors showrooms, online at, via telephone or by invoice.

3.1 Except where goods are already in-stock, they will be made-to-order. You will be made aware of goods which are made-to-order either online, where made-to-order goods are labelled as "Special Order," or when purchasing via telephone by invoice or in-person at Touched Interiors showrooms. You will be required to pay the full price, or an agreed deposit amount, and any shipping costs upon placement of the order.

3.2 All purchases are subject to acceptance in accordance with the following:

- You will be given the opportunity to confirm the details of your order, including your address and - payment details, prior to completing your purchase.

- When you make an purchase, we will provide you with an email or printed acknowledgement to let you know that we have received your order. This is not an order confirmation or acceptance.

- We will send you a confirmation email to confirm that your order has been dispatched for delivery. This is confirmation and acceptance of your order.

- Unless otherwise specified, your order may take up to 18 weeks to be delivered. Where we are unable to deliver your order within this period, our Customer Service team will be in touch with you as soon as possible. We reserve the right to cancel your order in these circumstances.

- Once you press the ‘Pay Now’ button, pay via bank transfer, secure payment link, or via the telephone, you give Touched Interiors permission to process your order as requested.

3.3 We make every effort to ensure that the pricing displayed on our website is correct. However, if an error in the pricing of a product is found we reserve the right to cancel your order or contact you to arrange payment of any extra sum due or refund any over-payment made by you (as applicable). The processing of an order can be cancelled or corrected by us at any time up to the shipment of that order and any related items.

 3.4 We may be unable, or refuse, to accept your purchase because:

- One or more products in your order are unavailable;

- We are unable to process payment for your order, or your chosen payment method has been refused;

- We have identified a pricing or product description error; or

- You fail to meet our order eligibility criteria or have failed to comply with our terms  (see section ‎8 below).

3.5 On occasion we may offer ex-display items at a discounted price. These ex-display pieces have typically been previously used as samples or display pieces in Touched Interiors showrooms.

We strongly recommend that prior to purchasing, you check the  product page online or speak with us for specific details on the condition of an individual item before you buy. We are able to provide imagery of ex-display items upon request. We suggest you visit a Touched Interiors showroom in person to examine ex-display items before purchasing.

When purchasing ex-display goods, you should be aware that:

- An ex-display item may have visible markings, damage or missing parts;

- Ex-display items are 'Sold as Seen,' which means you are not entitled to a refund;

- We have limited stock of these items; and

- Ex-display items are unable to be returned.

4. Delivery

4.1 Your order may take up to 18 weeks to be delivered. Unless we specifically agree otherwise in writing, this timeframe will be offered as guidance only. We will endeavour to deliver your goods within this timeframe but please be aware that we cannot guarantee that delivery date and we do not accept liability for any loss or expense incurred by you if delivery is not made by that estimated date. Ex-display items are subject to their own individual delivery lead times which will be advertised online and at Touched Interiors showrooms.

4.2 When your goods are ready for delivery, we will contact you using the contact details you provided when placing your order, in accordance with our privacy policy, in order to agree a delivery date. Once we have agreed a delivery date, you or your nominated named recipient will be responsible on that date for accepting the delivery and arranging appropriate means of access and installation (see section ‎5 below). If you are not willing or able to accept a delivery date which falls within a 28 day period from our first attempt to contact you, you will start to incur storage charges from £100.00 per week (or such other amount notified to you). We will invoice you at the appropriate time. All outstanding charges must be paid in full prior to delivery of the goods.

4.3 If you agree to a delivery date but our deliverers are, on that date, unable to obtain access to the delivery address (see section ‎5 below), you will incur additional redelivery charges.

4.4 We will deliver goods to the delivery address you specified when placing your order. It is noted however that (regardless of the address specified when you placed your order) certain credit or debit cards insist on shipment to the cardholder's billing address, Touched Interiors will follow the credit and debit card requirements.

4.5 If you are not willing to accept delivery of your goods within a three calendar month period from us first attempting to contact you, we shall be permitted to cancel your order and to re-sell the goods. In those circumstances, Touched Interiors shall retain purchase proceeds paid by you in full.

4.6 If, for a period of 28 days from being notified that the goods are available for delivery, you are unavailable and/or do not respond when we try to contact you to arrange delivery of your goods, we shall give you notice that unless you agree to take delivery within 14 days (of that notice), the order will be cancelled and we shall be permitted to take the steps referred to above. 

4.7 All deliveries will be made by an approved third-party appointed by Touched Interiors.

4.8 Whilst every reasonable effort shall be made to keep to any delivery date, Touched Interiors will not be held responsible for any consequential loss incurred by you or any other person or company arising directly or indirectly out of any failure to meet an estimated delivery date.

4.9 We cannot be held responsible for disruption to shipping caused by industrial disputes or action outside our direct control such as customs delay.

4.10 Touched Interiors have no liability to you for any failure to deliver goods you have ordered or any delay in doing so or for any damage or defect to goods delivered that is caused by any event or circumstance beyond its reasonable control.

4.11 It is your responsibility to inform us of any factors that will prevent us from a normal delivery service ie; restricted access, restricted parking, red routes, Restricted vehicle size restrictions. If we are unable to deliver the goods you will be liable for the delivery costs.

5. Delivery Charges, Access & Installations

Touched Interiors offers several specialist delivery services, including complimentary white glove delivery on qualifying purchases.

Delivery charges for items that do not quality for complimentary white glove delivery will be calculated at the checkout.

We do not deliver to PO box numbers, hotels and non-permanent accommodation addresses.

We offer international delivery on the vast majority of our pieces. To request an international shipping quotation, please contact or call +44(0)161 722 1983.

Please note that some international deliveries may incur local taxes and import duties. These are the responsibility of the recipient of the goods on arrival in the country of delivery.

5.1 It is up to you to ensure that we will be able to access and deliver the goods to the delivery address. If there is uncertainty it will be necessary for you to conduct a sit survey prior to placing your order. Please contact Customer Service in order to arrange for Touched Interiors to carry out a site survey if required. 

5.2 It is up to you to notify us in advance of delivery of any potential problems with access (including vehicle access, stairs, narrow doors, low ceilings or any other barriers) and to make (and notify us of) any other related delivery arrangements (such as arranging parking permits or hiring cranes). Where delivery is complicated by such factors, additional charges will be payable (prior to delivery) in addition to the standard delivery charge.

5.3 You must also make sure that there will be sufficient space for the goods when they are delivered. If we cannot get access or the goods do not fit, we will arrange (at your expense) for delivery to be made to another location specified by you. If there is no alternative location, we will cancel your order, take the goods back and follow the re-sale procedure set out in section 7.

5.4 It is your responsibility to ensure the areas required for installation are clear of all obstacles and furniture. Touched Interiors will not move any existing furniture within your delivery address, as we are not insured for this purpose.

5.5 Touched Interiors will not pay for loss or damage to the goods or your property which are caused due to (a) us following your instructions; (b) there being limited or no access and/or where the goods do not fit in the property (unless the loss or damage is caused by our negligence).

5.6  We only deliver through a ground floor or basement entrance and go up to a first floor level. We cannot deliver above this level unless there is suitable lift access. If you require a special delivery, any extra charges are to be paid by you, the customer. We sell some large and heavy products that on health and safety grounds require more than a two man delivery - we will call you to advise you of any extra cost involved in delivering before your order is processed. 

6. Acceptance of Goods

6.1 When your goods are delivered (and installed, if applicable), you (or the named nominated responsible person acting on your behalf) must thoroughly check the goods upon receipt.

Upon delivery, if the outer packaging of the goods is crushed, missing or damaged, you should:

- Refuse the delivery;

- Note the damage on the delivery paperwork;

- Take clear photographic evidence of the damaged outer packaging; and

- Contact us as soon as possible by emailing or by calling +44(0)161 722 1983.

Upon inspection of the goods, if the goods are damaged or defective, you should:

- Refuse the delivery;

- Note the damage on the delivery paperwork;

- Take clear photographic evidence of the damage/defect; and

- Contact us as soon as possible by emailing or by calling +44(0)161 722 1983.

To protect your interests, all claims concerning damaged and/or defective goods found on delivery must be notified before accepting the goods.

6.2 Upon inspecting the goods at the point of delivery prior to signing delivery documents, you must thoroughly check the goods to check for damage. Where items have been unpacked for you and you have signed the delivery note that you have received the goods without damage or fault, you then waive your right to report any loss or damage to the goods at a later date.

6.3 Claims for damage, deflects and loss will be rejected if the delivery paperwork is signed "unchecked" by you.

6.4 Acceptance of goods by you is confirmation that the goods have been thoroughly checked and inspected, and received in perfect condition. Claims for damage, defect or loss will be rejected should a claim be submitted at a later date accepting the receipt of goods in perfect condition.

7. Refunds & Returns

We offer a full refund (excluding delivery costs) on any items returned to us within 30 days of the delivery date or in-store purchase date. This does not include made-to-order or ex-display goods.

To exercise this right to return items that are not made-to-order or ex-display, you must notify us by emailing or by writing to us at Touched Interiors® Limited, 26 Blackfriars Street, Manchester, M3 5JS, United Kingdom within 30 days of the delivery date or in-store purchase date.

All goods must be returned to: Touched Interiors® Limited, 26 Blackfriars Street, Manchester, M3 5JS, United Kingdom.

We will process your refund as soon as possible, but please note that, depending on your bank/card issuer, it may take up to 10 working days for your refund to appear in your account.

In the case of a return, you are responsible for paying any postage or shipping costs incurred when returning the product unless the goods are being returned due to a manufacturing defect. We strongly recommend that all returns be sent by registered post, so that a record of the return is available for you.

Please note that you must return each item in the same condition in which you received it. This means that new items must be returned new, unused and complete.

No right of cancellation, refund or return exists once you have used your product unless the product is subject to a manufacturing defect.

If an item is made-to-order, it cannot be returned or refunded unless it is faulty. If an item is ex-display, it cannot be returned or refunded as it was purchase "Sold as Seen."

If the original packaging has been damaged or destroyed, we will only issue a refund if the product is being returned due to a defect. If the original packaging of a defective product has been damaged or destroyed you should ensure that the returned product is adequately packed for shipment back to us.

No right of cancellation exists for made-to-order "Special Order" items. These are generally bespoke items or items that are not held in-stock.

8. Eligibility

To be eligible to purchase from Touched Interiors and lawfully enter into and form contracts online at, via telephone or by invoice under English law you must:

- Provide your real name, phone number, email address, payment details and other requested information;

- Be over 18-years of age;

- Stipulate a delivery address in the United Kingdom or overseas address validated by us. Please note that PO box numbers, hotels and non-permanent accommodation addresses are not acceptable; and

- Possess a valid credit or debit card issued by a bank acceptable to us.

9. Passing of Property and Risk

9.1 Ownership of the goods will pass to you once they have been delivered to you or your nominated named recipient.

9.2 ​​​​​​​Once the goods have been delivered to the delivery address you will be responsible for any loss or damage to the goods except if such loss or damage was: (i) caused by our negligence; or (ii) due to a manufacturing defect or design fault.

10. Unavoidable Delays

We will not be liable for any delay or failure in performing our obligations under this Agreement where that delay or failure results from any act, event, non-happening, or accident beyond our reasonable control, such as war, threat of war, terrorism, sabotage, civil or military disturbance, fire, explosion, storm, flood, earthquake, or other natural disasters, pandemic, epidemic, strikes, lock-outs, or import or export embargoes, or the impossibility of us using railways, shipping, aircraft, motor transport or other means of public or private transport. If such circumstances arise, we will let you know in writing.

11. Limitation of Liability

11.1 Our liability to you under or in connection with this Agreement shall be limited to the extent of losses (if any) that you suffer as a direct and natural result of our breach or negligence.

11.2 We will not be responsible for any losses which arise as an indirect result of our breach or negligence or otherwise in connection with this Agreement which would not have been contemplated by us at the time of your order.

11.3 ​​​​​​Furthermore, we do not accept responsibility to pay damages to you in respect of any loss of profit, revenue, opportunity or enjoyment.

11.4 ​​​​​​​We are not liable for business losses. We only supply the products for domestic and private use. If you use the products for any commercial, business or resale purpose, we will have no liability to you for any loss of profit, loss of business, business interruption or loss of business opportunity.

11.5 ​​​​​​​Nothing in this Agreement will affect your statutory rights or limit our liability for fraud, or for death or personal injury resulting from our negligence or the negligence of our employees, servants or agents.

12. Other Important Terms

12.1 We grant you a licence to access the content, information and services contained within our website for personal use only.

12.2 Where acting as a consumer, your statutory rights are unaffected.

12.3 Nobody else has any rights under this contract. This contract is between you and us. No other person shall have any rights to enforce any of its terms.

12.4 If a court finds part of this contract illegal, the rest of the contract will continue in force. Each of the paragraphs of these terms operates separately. If any court or relevant authority decides that any parts of them are unlawful, the remaining paragraphs will remain in full force and effect.

12.5 Even if we delay in enforcing this contract, we can still enforce it later. If we do not insist immediately that you do anything you are required to do under these terms, or if we delay in taking steps against you in respect of your breaking this contract, that will not mean that you do not have to do those things and it will not prevent us taking steps against you at a later date. For example, if you miss a payment and we do not chase you but we continue to provide the products, we can still require you to make the payment at a later date.

12.6 These terms are governed by English law and legal proceedings should be brought to the appropriate courts. You can bring legal proceedings in respect of the products in the English courts. If you live in Scotland you can bring legal proceedings in respect of the products in either the Scottish or the English courts. If you live in Northern Ireland you can bring legal proceedings in respect of the products in either the Northern Irish or the English courts.

12.7 Many of the materials used in the manufacture of your furniture are naturally occurring. It is not uncommon for your furniture to show characteristics and features which reflect the lifecycle of this material. Such features should not be considered a fault but are a characteristic of the chosen material for your furniture. For the same reason, the item and finish of the furniture model you have seen online may vary when your ordered furniture is delivered.

12.8 The terms and policy set out here may change from time to time at our discretion.

12.9 By your use of our website you hereby indemnify us and undertake to keep us indemnified at all times now and in the future against all possible claims relating to any breach of these Terms & Conditions by you. Such indemnities to include, (but not be limited to) all costs legal and otherwise, all other expenses, damages or settlements arising from your breach of these terms and conditions.

12.10 All content, databases, graphics, buttons, icons, logos, layouts and look and feel are copyright of Touched Interiors® Limited, unless expressly acknowledged as otherwise.

Each product purchased is sold subject to its Product Description. We will take all reasonable care to ensure that all details, descriptions and prices of products appearing on the Website are correct at the time when the relevant information was entered onto the system. Although we aim to keep the Website as up to date as possible, the information, including Product Descriptions, appearing on this Website at a particular time may not always reflect the position at the exact moment you place an order.

13. Competitions & Offers

We run competitions, prize draws, giveaways and offers across Touched Interiors showrooms and online (Competitions & Offers). In addition to the specific rules governing each competition, prize draw, giveaway and offer, the following general terms apply. Touched Interiors reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions at any time in its sole discretion.

By participating in any Competitions or Offers, you agree to be bound by the relevant terms and conditions applicable to the promotion.

The Promoter’s staff, agents and their immediate families may be restricted in participating in Competitions and redeeming Offers, please consult the relevant specific terms for further details.

Touched Interiors® Limited is the ‘Promoter’ in relation to the Competition or Offer unless stated otherwise.

Competitions and Offers are governed by English law and are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.

Your personal data will be processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Prior to taking any Care & Protect insurance products from Touched Interiors, you will be provided with the following key documents:

- Insurance Product Information Document (IPID): This shows you the key benefits and exclusions of the insurance as well as other important information. You must read this before purchasing the insurance and take this document home with you.

- Important Information Document: This provides you with information on what demands and needs this insurance will meet as well as other important information. You must read this document; tick the necessary boxes if they apply to you and then sign the document.

- Terms & Conditions (T&Cs): These givey ou the full terms of your insurance policy and other important information. You should read these carefully to make sure the cover is right for you. You will be sent these following the delivery of your furniture.
