Information collected when you make a purchase

When you make a purchase in-person at Touched Interiors showrooms, online at, via telephone or by invoice, we will collect necessary information about you to ensure we can fulfil your order or chosen service.

For your safety, and the prevention and detection of crime, CCTV is in operation during your visit to Touched Interiors showrooms.

Our website is hosted by a third-party on our behalf. Touched Interiors remains the Data Controller for personal information collected through our website. When you visit, we collect information about your device to help drive innovation and improve user experience. Information can be collected through your IP address or through cookies placed on your device. Some cookies are needed for the proper functioning of the website. Cookies are used for purposes including the storage of items in your shopping bag; the recognition (anonymous) that you are signed in; and the determination of your currency, dependent on preferred delivery location.

You will be offered the opportunity to use our Guest Checkout path or to create an online account on our website. Shopping Services

In order to deliver the best possible customer experience, Touched Interiors offers a variety of shopping services which are available in-store or remotely. Customers use these services to order products, check product availability, request product related advice and/or for a more bespoke shopping experience. 

Personal Shopping is a service available to any customer. Customers that use our Personal Shopping service receive individual contact from a member of our retail team in order to fulfil their request. 

Clientelling refers to an informal personal relationship initiated between a customer and a member of the Touched Interiors team. 

The Private Shopping service is a by-invitation only service which provides customers with access to a bespoke one-to-one shopping experience via a dedicated private shopper. To find out more information about how Touched Interiors uses your data to provide the Private Shopping service, please contact your private shopper directly.

Use of these services may involve you sharing additional personal information about yourself with Touched Interiors. This is so that we can tailor your shopping experience with recommendations of products and services that may be relevant to your lifestyle and preferences. We understand that as part of this, you may share with us sensitive information about your personal circumstances, or festivals and holidays that are important to you. Competitions, Prize Draws, Giveaways, Offers, Events and Surveys

When you participate in a Touched Interiors competition, prize draw, giveaway or offer, or sign up to attend one of our events, either in person or online directly with Touched Interiors or indirectly through a third party, we will collect information about you.
