The Fascio Travertine Wall Light
Model: KT998-1
Fascio means bundle in Italian, and a fascio di luce is a beam of light. A square block of travertine is wrapped across its middle with a curved band of wood, bound together like a bundle.
Unlit, the pale stone and warm wood sit in quiet contrast, with the natural pores of the travertine visible above and below the band. Switched on, light washes up and down the wall from behind the block, and the exposed stone glows softly at top and bottom. It suits a hallway, landing or stairwell, and a pair either side of a bed or a sideboard.
It comes in one size, 22cm wide and 16cm tall. The wood band comes in Walnut or Natural Oak. Travertine is a natural stone, so the veining, pores and tone of every block are unique.
