The Ponticello Travertine Wall Light
Model: KT1003-1
Ponticello means little bridge in Italian, and is also the name for the bridge of a violin. A rounded slab of travertine is crossed by a small H shaped bridge of wood, which carries the light across the face of the stone.
Unlit, the slab shows its natural pores and soft cream banding beneath the warm line of the wood. Switched on, a warm light spreads across the stone around the bridge and onto the wall, bringing out the texture of the travertine. It suits a bedside, a hallway or a landing, and a pair frames a console or a mirror neatly.
It comes in one size, 16.5cm wide and 25cm tall, and takes a single G9 bulb. The wood comes in Walnut or Natural Oak. Travertine is a natural stone, so the veining, pores and tone of every slab are unique.
