About Boca do Lobo
Boca do Lobo is a Portuguese design house known for sculptural, collectable furniture and lighting, made by hand in the north of Portugal by master artisans.
Every piece draws on the country's oldest crafts. Hand-painted azulejo tiles tell stories from the Age of Discoveries, blacksmiths shape and weld large metal forms, gilders lay gold leaf layer by layer, and jewellers work filigree from fine twisted threads of gold and silver. Wood is carved and glass engraved by hand, and molten brass is cast into the forms behind the Newton and Eden series.
Collections such as Lapiaz, Symphony, Diamond, Metamorphosis, Wave and Stonehenge pair these techniques with rare marbles, high gloss lacquers, root veneers and polished or hammered brass. Each piece is made to order, so finishes and colourways can be chosen for the room.
