The Sudd is a vast swamp in South Sudan, its name coming from the Arabic word for barrier. Like the swamp that inspired it, the Sudd Rug has an asymmetrical pattern that conveys a strong, natural feeling, its colour tones recalling the swamp's vegetation. Hand knotted in wool, it creates an intense, modern space.
