The Bouquet Alabaster Chandelier

Bouquet gathers 25 alabaster spheres, each Ø15cm, and hangs them at varied heights from a round metal canopy. The result is a loose cluster, like a bunch of grapes, that looks different from every angle.

This is a piece for a grand stairwell or a double-height entrance hall, where the cluster can be seen from above and below. Each sphere holds its own G9 bulb, so when lit the whole group becomes a soft cloud of warm light, the veining in each stone showing slightly differently from its neighbours.

The canopy and metalwork come in brass or bronze, and the suspension is adjusted at installation. Alabaster is a natural stone, so the veining, tone and translucency of every sphere are unique.
