The Fiaccola Alabaster Wall Light

Fiaccola is Italian for torch. An upward-facing alabaster cylinder is held on a brass arm, recalling the wall torches of old palazzi, here reworked in stone and metal.

An E27 bulb lights the cylinder, and the alabaster glows warm, with its veining revealed around the form. At 21cm high it is compact, so it sits comfortably beside a bed, along a corridor or either side of a mirror.

Set in a row down a hallway or stairwell, a series of Fiaccola lights creates a steady rhythm of warm points along the wall. The metalwork comes in brass, bronze or black, from the classical warmth of brass to a sharper, more graphic look in black.

Alabaster is a natural stone, so the veining, tone and translucency of every piece are unique.
