Orto 2 continues the story of gentle abstraction, offering a quieter and more spacious expression. Earthy layers dissolve into one another, with soft ivory and muted sienna blurring into tones of clay and mineral green. A single stroke of black provides contrast and structure, like a shadow cast across open ground. Where Orto 1 suggested a cultivated landscape, Orto 2 feels more elemental, raw, open, and still. Together, they speak to grounded beauty and the simplicity of marks made with purpose. Perfect on its own or even more powerful when brought together as a set with Orto 1.

The Formelle float frame
A slim frame with a fine rim, set around the canvas with a deep shadow gap so the canvas appears to float within it. A solid wood surround, reinforced with an inner aluminium lining so it never warps, finished in a sleek melamine veneer.
