The Gemma Alabaster Wall Light

Gemma is built from two matching cylinders of alabaster, each 8.5cm across and 22.5cm long, set end to end and joined at a round metal base. Together they make a single long pill shape, simple in outline and quietly sculptural on the wall.
Each cylinder holds its own G9 bulb, so both halves glow evenly and the veining shows along the length of the stone. The metal base, Ø12cm and 1.5cm deep, sits at the centre as a point of contrast. It works well in a hallway, on a landing or as a pair either side of a bed.
The metalwork comes in brass, bronze or black. Alabaster is a natural stone, so the veining, tone and translucency of every cylinder are unique.
