Essential Home

Essential Home creates mid-century modern furniture inspired by the design of the 1950s and 1960s and the glamour of the Hollywood screen. Many pieces are named after the actors and directors of that era, and share its clean lines, warm woods and polished metal details.

Sofas, armchairs, dining and bar chairs, sideboards, tables and accessories are made by hand in Portugal, combining solid woods and veneers with velvet, leather, marble and brass. The style sits easily in both period homes and contemporary interiors.

Every piece is made to order, so textiles, leathers and metal finishes can be chosen from Essential Home's own samples library.
