The Tronco Travertine Wall Light
Model: KT984-1
Tronco means trunk in Italian, as in the trunk of a tree. A sturdy column of travertine, 28cm tall, is mounted on a wood back, so stone and timber meet in one grounded, natural form.
The stone is opaque, so the light is cast from the column rather than through it, leaving the cream surface, open pores and banding in clear view. Unlit, it has the quiet presence of a small sculpture. Its height suits a hallway or stairwell, either side of a doorway, or a pair framing a sideboard or a bed.
One size, 6.5 x 28 x 9.5cm, taking one GU10 or E27 bulb, with the wood back in Walnut or Natural Oak. Travertine is a natural stone, so the veining, pores and tone of every piece are unique.
