The Ventaglio Travertine Wall Light
Model: KT970-1
Ventaglio is the Italian word for a folding hand fan. Travertine is shaped into a folded cone that narrows to a point, finished with a walnut detail at its tip, so the sconce reads like a fan half opened against the wall.
The light rises from the open, uneven top edge and washes up the wall, while the folded faces of the stone catch the glow at different angles and bring their pores and markings forward. It makes a sculptural accent in a hallway or beside a bed, or set in pairs either side of a console or a mirror in a dining room.
One size, 19 x 27 x 6.5cm, taking one G9 bulb. Travertine is a natural stone, so the veining, pores and tone of every piece are unique.
